Turn hours of footage into
ad-ready inventory

Upload a long-form video and ClipAd's OptiClip engine finds the moments worth clipping — not fixed-length chunks, but the parts people actually watch. Cut them into standalone clips, place an approved ad pre-roll, mid-roll or post-roll, and you've turned one upload into a shelf of ad inventory.

What Activate actually does

Built on a transcript, not a stopwatch

Most auto-clip tools slice video into equal-length chunks. ClipAd's OptiClip engine transcribes the audio, then ranks it for the segments worth cutting — so a clip ends where the thought does, not where a timer runs out.

The pipeline

From upload to a finished, ad-ready file

1
Detect

ClipAd's OptiClip engine transcribes the video and ranks it for clip-worthy moments — real editorial judgment, not a scene-cut algorithm.

2
Cut

Approve a segment and OptiClip cuts it into its own standalone clip file, frame-accurate, with a thumbnail — ready to place or publish.

3
Place an ad

Pick an approved creative and a slot — pre-roll, mid-roll or post-roll — and ClipAd renders one finished, publication-ready deliverable.

ClipAd's Activate step reviewing a detected clip
OptiClip listens, not just watches

Content-aware, not content-blind

OptiClip runs on what's actually said, not on pixel changes. A transcript is built first, then OptiClip scores it for standout moments — so a 45-minute interview comes back as a handful of real, self-contained clips, each with a title grounded in what was actually spoken, not a guess.

  • Clips start and end on sentence boundaries, not mid-word
  • Titles are grounded in the transcript — never invented
  • Detection fails loudly if it can't find real moments — never a placeholder cut
You approve everything

Nothing publishes without your sign-off

Every detected segment is a suggestion, not a decision. Review it, approve it or reject it with a reason — and that reason feeds back into how future clips from your account are ranked. The same review step applies to ad placements: you choose the creative and the slot before anything renders.

  • Approve, reject or trim a suggested clip before it's cut
  • Choose which ad creative runs, and where, on every placement
  • Your rejections tune OptiClip for your own content
Reviewing a placement before it publishes
Built for every kind of footage

One engine, three ways to use it

Independent creators

Turn one long upload into a run of 30–180s clips, each one a placement opportunity — no editing skill required.

Media houses

Run full programmes, bulletins and interviews through the same engine to build a standing library of ad-ready inventory.

Brands

Supply an approved creative and it slots into pre-roll, mid-roll or post-roll on any clip a creator or media house activates.

Activate FAQ

Straight answers

How does ClipAd know what to clip?
ClipAd's OptiClip engine transcribes the audio first, then scores the transcript for standout, self-contained moments. Clips are chosen on content, not on a fixed timer or a scene-cut algorithm.
What if I don't like a suggested clip?
Reject it with a reason, or trim its start/end before approving. Your rejections feed back into how future clips from your account are ranked.
Where can I place an ad on a clip?
Pre-roll, mid-roll (which splits the clip around the ad) or post-roll. You choose the approved creative and the slot before anything renders.
What video formats and sizes are supported?
MP4, MOV and MKV, up to 5GB per upload.
Do I need editing experience?
No. Detection, cutting and ad integration are all automatic — you're approving and choosing, not editing.
Does anything publish without my approval?
No. Every clip and every ad placement is reviewed and approved before it's cut or rendered.
