Content & Community Policy

ClipAd, operated by Polsia, is a marketplace built on trust between creators and brands. This Content & Community Policy sets out what may and may not be published, advertised, or distributed through the platform so that it stays safe for brands and fair for creators.

This is a template for an early-stage product and not legal advice.

1. Who this applies to

This policy applies to everyone on ClipAd — creators who upload long-form video and demo reels, and brands who supply advertising creative. It applies to the content itself, to thumbnails and metadata, and to any conduct on the platform. It works together with our Terms of Service, Creator Agreement, and Advertiser Terms.

2. Acceptable content

We welcome original, authentic content across the genres our communities love — entertainment, education, music, comedy, lifestyle, sport, faith, news commentary, and more. Content should be your own work, accurately represented, and suitable for a broad marketplace audience. Brand creative should be honest, clearly identifiable as advertising, and relevant to the audiences it reaches.

3. Prohibited content

The following are not permitted on ClipAd:

  • Content that infringes copyright, trademark, or other rights you do not hold.
  • Sexually explicit material, child sexual abuse material, or content that sexualizes minors.
  • Hate speech, harassment, or content that incites violence or discrimination against people or groups.
  • Graphic violence, self-harm promotion, or dangerous or illegal acts presented for imitation.
  • Fraud, scams, deceptive claims, malware, or misleading health or financial advice.
  • Content that violates applicable laws in the markets where it is distributed.

4. Intellectual property and rights you grant

You must own or have permission to use everything in your content, including footage, music, logos, and the likenesses of people who appear. By uploading, creators grant ClipAd the limited license described in the Creator Agreement to host, segment, display, distribute, and deliver the content. Brands grant a similar license to display and distribute their brand content. We respond to valid intellectual-property complaints and may remove infringing material.

5. Ad-suitability standards

Because ClipAd connects brands with creators who feature them in their content, both sides depend on suitability. Creators control which segments may carry advertising and approve each brand before it goes live. We classify content for brand suitability and may limit or decline advertising on material that is lawful but not appropriate for a given campaign or brand category. Brands can set the categories and contexts they are willing to appear in.

6. Enforcement and strikes

When content or conduct violates this policy, we may remove the content, restrict advertising, limit features, issue a strike, or suspend or terminate the account, depending on severity and history. Serious violations, such as illegal content or fraud, can result in immediate removal and permanent suspension. We log enforcement actions so decisions are consistent and reviewable.

7. Appeals

If you believe an enforcement decision was made in error, you may appeal through your dashboard or by contacting us. We will review the appeal, look at the relevant context, and respond with the outcome. We aim to be fair and to correct mistakes quickly.
