Before the start
- Open the webinar page 15 minutes early.
- Check your camera, microphone, and internet (see Guide 13).
- The room opens for viewers 30 minutes before the start. Before that, they see a "you are registered" message.
Start the webinar
- Open your webinar page.
- Click Start (it says Open console if you are already live). The console opens in a new tab.
- Check your camera and microphone in the console.
- Go live.
- Viewers see a waiting message until you are live. Then they see your feed.
During the webinar
- Do not close the console tab. Your browser sends the picture to your viewers. If it closes, the feed stops.
- Viewers can chat and ask questions.
- Viewers can raise a hand. You can invite a viewer to speak. They get a seat in the room.
- You can turn off a viewer's chat if needed.
- Check the Questions tab to see what people asked.
End the webinar
- Open the ⋮ menu on the webinar page.
- Choose End.
- Viewers see that it ended.
Good to know
- Chat has a small limit: one message every 2 seconds per person. This stops spam.
- If the stage is full, a viewer must wait to speak.
