Make your first recording

Open a room, check your camera, and record.

Before you start

• Use a computer with a camera and microphone.
• Use Chrome, Edge, or Safari. Use a good internet connection.
• Use headphones. This stops echo.

Steps

1. Go to your Library and open the Recordings tab.
2. Click New recording. Your room opens.
3. Allow camera and microphone when the browser asks. Click Allow.
4. Check yourself on screen. Speak, and watch the microphone meter move.
5. Open Settings to pick a different camera, microphone, or speaker if you need to.
6. Click Record when you are ready.
7. Click Record again (it becomes stop) when you finish.
8. Click Leave to exit the room.

After you record

• The finished recording is added to your Library as a video. This can take a few minutes.
• You will get a notification when it is ready.
• Then you can use Detect clips on it, or open it in the editor.

Good to know

• Each person is recorded on their own, in full quality. A weak call does not make the recording worse.
• Do not close the tab while you record. If you must, see Guide 10.
