Export your video

Make the final video file.

Steps

1. Check your edit in the preview.
2. Click Export at the top right.
3. Wait. A progress message shows while it works.
4. When it is done, the preview shows your finished video.

How long does it take?

• It depends on how long the video is and how many things you added (text, shapes, pictures).
• A short video is quick. A long video, or one with many added items, takes longer.

If the export fails

1. Click Export again. Many failures are short problems.
2. Check that every clip in the timeline still plays.
3. Remove any picture or font you added that may be a bad file. Try again.
4. If it still fails, contact support. Tell us the name of the edit.

Good to know

• The canvas colour fills any empty space around your video. You can set it in the bar under the top bar.
• The video shape (16:9 wide, 9:16 tall, square) is set with the shape button on the left of that bar. Set it before you export.
