When you have a ready clip and an approved brand ad, you can stitch them into one finished video right inside ClipAd. You choose where the ad goes; ClipAd renders the final file for you.
Before you start
You need a clip that is ready (see How to turn a video into clips) and an approved ad creative to place on it. Brands upload creatives and ClipAd reviews them, so only approved creatives are selectable. If you are running a campaign, the brand's creative is attached for you automatically.
Place the ad
- In Segments, open the menu on a ready clip and click + Place ad.
- Pick a slot — Pre-roll (ad before your clip), Mid-roll (ad partway through), or Post-roll (ad after your clip).
- For mid-roll, set the second at which the ad should interrupt the clip.
- Choose the approved creative, then click Place & render.
What ClipAd renders
ClipAd normalizes your clip and the ad to one clean format (portrait 1080×1920 at 30fps), joins them at your chosen slot with a smooth fade at the seam, and checks the result plays correctly. The combined video is a real file you can download and post.
Where it ends up
The finished video appears on your Outputs page, where its status moves through stitching → rendering → rendered. From there you can preview, download, or share it — see How to find and download your rendered clips. You approve every ad before it runs, so nothing is stitched without your say-so.
