Uploading is the first step in every project. Once your video is in, you kick off AI detection and ClipAd proposes clips for you to review.
Upload a video
- Open My Videos in your creator dashboard.
- Click Choose File (or drag a file onto the upload area) and pick your file. MP4, MOV, AVI, MKV, and WEBM are supported, up to 5GB.
- Wait for the upload to finish — you'll see the progress while it transfers.
- The video appears in your list with the status uploaded, ready for detection.
Run detection
Detection doesn't start on its own — open the video's menu and click Detect clips. The first time, you'll be asked to allow transcription so the AI can read and rank your best moments. The status then moves from uploaded to processing, and finishes at segmented with your proposed clips waiting in Segments. The full walkthrough is in How to turn a long-form video into clips.
If something goes wrong
If an upload stalls, check your connection and file format first — see Supported formats, file size, and length. If a video sits in processing far longer than expected, Why is my video still processing? explains what to do.
