Content suitability and brand safety

Trust & safety3 min read

Brands need to know their ad won't appear next to something harmful, and creators need clear lines so they can monetize with confidence. Content suitability is how we give both sides that certainty.

How it works

Content is classified for suitability, and reports are reviewed against our Content & Community Policy. Prohibited material is removed, and repeat offenders lose access. Both creators' clips and brands' campaigns are held to these standards.

What's never allowed

  • Material that infringes others' rights.
  • Sexual content involving minors.
  • Hate speech and incitement to violence.
  • Dangerous or illegal acts.
  • Fraud or deceptive claims.

Staying brand-safe

Creators who keep clips clearly within policy are eligible for the widest range of campaigns — a simple test is whether an advertiser would be happy to appear beside the content. The full standards live in the Content & Community Policy and the broader picture is on Trust & safety.
